The Dalton – Luxury Living in Old Town

The Dalton’s location, in a budding neighborhood just north of Old Town Alexandria posed a unique challenge. It needed to appeal to modern young professionals while maintaining the class and charm associated with Old Town Alexandria. Aspects of the brand needed to be both timeless and modern.

I worked to update the existing branding with a light-touch approach. By eliminating gradients, re-drawing the logo, and applying a minimalist color palette with subtle accents the result is an elegant luxury brand that straddles the line between traditional and contemporary.
